Configuring Without Git or MercurialΒΆ

Solano CI natively supports continuous integration and CLI builds for projects that use git or Mercurial (hg) repos. If you do not use git or Mercurial (hg), please contact us at support@solanolabs.com as we are actively adding support for other SCMs.

Even if you don’t use git or hg for your SCM, you can initialize a git repository for use with Solano CI:

$ git init
$ git add .
$ git commit -am 'check in everything'
$ solano suite
# .... Setup a suite

You can edit the suite configuration with

$ solano suite --edit

Before you run tests with Solano CI, you will need to commit files to your git repository:

$ git add .
$ git commit -am 'check in before solano run'
